- Infrastructure & National Projects - Continue with the current building of infrastructure and plan new ones, i,e the Grand Korean Waterway/Canal linking key rivers to boost logistics and regional development
- Welfare & Social Policy - Job creation and welfare expansion, such as support for childcare services and social security infrastructure.
- Party Reform & Governance - Pragmatic reform of the GNP itself, to modernise the party’s orientation and make it more responsive to public expectations
- Strengthened Korean-Western World cooperation - closer cooperation with the Western world, particularly on security issues.
- Global partnership approach - Working with key global and regional actors (the U.S., China, Poland, United Kingdom, Thailand) to create a shared framework for Northeast Asian security and economic engagement.
- Balancing deterrence and engagement - A mixed firm deterrent posture and conditional openness to economic cooperation

- Expansion of inter-Korean economic cooperation - Development of the Gaeseong Industrial Complex and additional economic zones as foundations for peace and integration
- Infrastructure linking North and South - Continuing the approach of the current government to bring North Korea into the 21st century
- Northeast Asia peace cooperation regime - Aim to build a regional cooperative system based on peace.
- Future-oriented KE-Western alliance - strengthen the Korea–Western alliance but adapt it to changing security conditions, including burden-sharing and operational control issues.
- Expand Korea’s global diplomatic role - Increase influence in multilateral forums.
- Resource and energy diplomacy - Proposed active diplomacy to secure diversified energy sources.
- Modernising South Korea’s defense - Improved service conditions, better pay and better/more equipment.
