Overview |
AusTender is the Australian Government’s procurement information system. It provides centralised publication of Australian Government business opportunities, annual procurement plans and contracts awarded. The Australian Government is comprised of a large number of individual Agencies. AusTender centralises information from these Agencies to make it easy for you to navigate and find information in a central location. Agencies that use AusTender are required to ensure they follow the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) which explains their obligations. Business Opportunities are published as Approaches to Market (ATMs). ATMs are open for potential suppliers to participate and include requests for tender, requests for quote, expressions of interest, or proposals. A Contract Notice (CN) is reported on AusTender as a result of a contract being awarded following a tender process. Most Australian Government agencies publish contracts that are valued at or above $10,000. A CN displays details about the procurement process, and details about the contract including the contract period, value and the supplier. |
