Dear General Gorski,
Following your recent meeting with the French Chargé d’Affaires in Poland, Mr. Jean-Philippe Bélanger, he kindly provided me with your contact details as the Polish point of contact for matters related to the French redeployment of forces to New Caledonia and the corresponding Polish withdrawal.
I would be grateful if you could provide me with the most recent list of Polish forces currently present on French territory.
Furthermore, as the French Armed Forces are still in the process of rebuilding, our ability to independently facilitate a deployment remains limited. We presume, however, that Poland will deploy assets to support its own withdrawal. I hope that you are willing to discuss the opportunity of coordinating arrangements whereby these Polish assets might also support the transport of French forces to the region prior to their utility to facilitate the Polish withdrawal.
Would you be available for a teleconference at your convenience?
Yours sincerely,
Admiral Éric Géroux
Major General of the Defence Staff
Chiefs of Staff Committee
Ministry of Defence
Sixth French Republic
