The implementation of high-speed rail (HSR) will be a transformative force in Türkiye’s transportation sector, delivering significant benefits and paving the way for future expansions. The project includes significant infrastructure such as 59 bridges and 35 tunnels, designed to handle high seismic activity and challenging hydrogeological conditions. Ankara-Kayseri Line

Covering a distance of 229 kilometers, this line will reduce travel times from four hours to approximately one hour and twenty minutes. Scheduled for completion in 2025, the line is designed for speeds of 215 km/h and is partially funded by the European Union, reflecting its importance for cross-border connectivity and regional economic integration.

Karaman-Ulukışla-Yenice Line
This extension of the Ankara-Konya-Karaman line will reach Ulukışla and eventually connect to Mersin-Adana-Gaziantep high-speed lines.
