Earlier today, in Brussels minister of Finance, Willem Smets had this to say about the effects of what some are calling yet another fiscal burden:
"Though much effort and emphasis has been placed on austerity and the payment of the national debt, it has recently come to my attention that we are now at this time 18 billion Francs in debt."
The Government now in its 8th month in power, is facing criticism and backlash from the public with many accusing the government established by Pro Patria as being marginally different from the Liberals. Rumor has it, the administration may not survive beyond December especially considering its recent attempts at conquest in the war with France.
