| Dear Minister Moretti, I have been informed that Russia has withdrawn its hosting rights for the 2010 Winter Olympics. As Vancouver was the host city which was runner up in the final round of voting, I hereby award the 2010 Winter Olympics to Vancouver should you still wish to host it. We understand that with less than 10 months until the expected hosting time for a northern hemisphere winter games that the timeframe may be tight, but we hope you have the necessary facilities and venus in order to make it happen.
