Secret
It was a rainy day in early January of 2009, as Ardeshir Ghasem, Royal Deputy of the Spàsaká, arrived again in Ankara. He was one if not the only, high official of the Iranian government, of which where no official Picture on government websites, eve his dates of birth, live etc where officially changed, so that one by official sources only may know his name, without a picture about this name. He was, other than his colleagues or direct superior, Royal Prince Vahyaz-dāta, even some one, who where not a famous member of the big former Iranian diaspora, out of which many of the current government where recruited. He had always stayed in Iran, even if his family was already by his granddad in constant contact of the Shahs Family, and in the 80s also the Phalavis.
This ofc was done by purpose, especially as the Government in the beginning was highly afraid, of the possible infiltration and even attacks of former islamistic groups, especially against the newly to establish intelligence Service. So Ghasem was the one where never the true destination of his schedule was open, the name that just quietly was unchanging on the website. He lived by the name, for the few official purposes, even if it was not his own.
The second man of the Spàskà was designed to survive, that the Shah and his Nations Government never where truly blind, with the Kings Owns "eyes".
But today Ghasem was in a semi official role in Turkey, as he had established a meeting by confident communication with his Ministers parallel of the north-western neighbor, Hakan Ağçay. The MIT invited the Persian, even if he wasn’t yet sure if he would directly speak to Hakan our one of his subordinates. But that was not the important thing. While Turkey and Iran in the last months had undergone a quick trial of meetings, communication and ratification of treaty’s and declarations which almost placed both nations as offical allies together in the region, even more so now that both saw the PKK as there main enemy, the intelligence community was way cooler. This ofc was just to be expected, especially the Turkish: there openly, and Ghasem thought rightfully so, declared there mistrust for Iran in handling there intelligence information’s. Maybe there where right, at least politically.
But the Spàskà had there own thoughts, as well as the Shah had. And as much the New Iran made a lot of pompous celebrations, about the royal names of ministry’s and Departments, in question of the Spàská it was more than that. This even was purposely made, both by Cubin and the Shah himself, who build this government more after the regime change, than Ràba himself. The King Eyes where at first exactly that, eyes for the monarchy and only after it for the government. The last was democratic, it could change...but the monarchy should not fall, not again be overthrown by government or revolution and Ghasem was even more than his boss there to ensure that.
It was this close relation to the royal house, the seat at Persepolis not Tehran, that also had dictated it focus in the first somewhat of 3 years of reign: the Focus was not only its establishment but the tight grip on the Islamist. At first Ghasem had more informants on his Payroll in Kuwait and Oman, than in Syria, Iraq or even Turkey and Egybt together, as there sat the surviving elements of the Shia.
But with the recent attacks, this focus changed and even this was the reason that Ghasem arrived, only with one security agent as his deputy in a simple rented car, at the MIT's Building in Ankara.
