| Dear Whom it May Concern, On behalf of the Turkish Air Force Air Transport Command, I respectfully request diplomatic overflight and landing clearance in support of Operation Extended Hand, a humanitarian airlift mission organized by the Republic of Türkiye to assist the Commonwealth of Australia in response to the ongoing bushfire emergency in Victoria. The airlift package consists of six (6) Antonov An-225 Mriya heavy transport aircraft, carrying Turkish firefighting personnel, firefighting vehicles and equipment, and Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) medical and relief supplies, along with two (2) civilian-registered Canadair CL-215 amphibious firefighting aircraft flying in company formation. We kindly request the following support from Indian authorities: - Diplomatic overflight clearance through HIC airspace. - Landing and ground handling permission at Air Force Station Begumpet for refueling, crew rest, and routine aircraft inspection. - Air Traffic Control coordination for staggered arrival and departure of the eight-aircraft formation. - Ground support services including fuel supply, apron parking, and basic facility access for approximately 10 hours of ground time. A detailed flight manifest, aircraft registrations, and estimated timing will be forwarded separately through appropriate liaison channels for coordination purposes. The Turkish Air Force deeply appreciates the cooperation and support of the Board of Directors of the HIC in facilitating this humanitarian mission, and looks forward to your confirmation at the earliest opportunity.
